Version History
The updated version of Sync2PST will sync PST files correctly even with the latest Windows October Update.
The purpose of this update is to fix important issues in the current Sync2PST version. The main issue was that the product would not work on computers with Outlook 2016 also many other issues were fixed.
Functional Updates

Users with Outlook 2016 could not use product because outdated Redemption component was being used.

Both 32 bit and 64 bit are supported.
Issues Fixed
Sync2PST Issues:

Disabled the possibility to start the synchronization, if no folders are selected;.

Items in storage root folder were not synchronized.

Hidden folders were shown for selection for Outlook 2010 users.

If several folders were selected, only one left selected in interface after synchronization is finished.

After 2nd PST file is opened, all folder selection for 1st file was lost.

Several cases when saving scheduling settings would malfunction.

By default, all item filters should be disabled.

UI was shown in English when installing Sync2PST in DE or FR languages.

PST file indexing is now disabled when Sync2PST starts synchronization.

Several other small or cosmetic issues.
This update is mainly to change the version number from 1.21 to 1.30, and to fix some minor issues with installation. Also, it was not mentioned in 1.21 release notes that the product was tested with Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 Beta.

Important Information:

Unfortunately installation package of this new version (as well as previously released 1.21 version) doesn’t recognize previous versions of Sync2PST. Customers that have previous 1.20 or earlier versions are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to uninstall it manually from "Add/Remove Programs" before installing this new release.

Support of password-protected PST files added. Now Sync2PST prompts for a password to PST file before starting synchronization. The password can be saved by application and used automatically during synchronization.

Ability to enable/disable the start of the application when logging on to Windows added. The checkbox is now available on the "Options" tab in "Settings"

Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 Beta support. The product was fully tested on Windows 7 and updated to support the Outlook 2010 Beta.

The tooltip text in the "Status" area on the main form now displays details of the error occurred if the recent synchronization has failed

Bugs Fixed:

In some cases items from a folder, newly added for synchronization, would be synchronized only after the 2nd attempt

Items deleted in the "Deleted Items" folder would re-appear again during synchronization

The application would not start, an error would appear on the screen informing that MSVBVM60.DLL was not found

If for some reason the default PST could not be opened when the application started, a message would appear asking to open the found default PST again

In some cases, an error would occur informing about PST being inaccessible during the last synchronization attempt and displaying the path and name of another PST

If the scheduled synchronization failed, a message box with the error would display

When an item update was applied to the right PST, the status information would incorrectly display the text about the update in the left PST, instead of the right

The synchronization progress bar would sometimes jump randomly to 0%, 50% or 100% before applying the found changes

Seconds are not shown now in the "Last synchronized on" text

"Last synchronized on" would show the Jan 1, 0001 date if synchronization is completed with all folders unchecked

Re-activation will be required when upgrading from any previous version

Changes:

German and French language support added. The product was fully tested with German and French editions of Windows and Outlook.

Additional explanation texts added. Detailed explanation texts now show the reason why synchronization failed in cases when PST files are locked, read-only, or when the location where PST file is synchronized is unavailable.
Bugs Fixed:

In some cases during synchronization items would not be detected as identical and duplicates would be created

In some cases folders that are checked for synchronization and/or the synchronization settings would reset when the application starts

In some cases synchronization would not start according to the scheduled time on Windows Vista

Outlook folder trees in the main application dialog would sometimes appear closed

Folders with "\" or "/" symbols in names would not synchronize

When changing a PST pair, "Last synchronization" date would show the date of last synchronization of a PST pair selected previously

In some cases, the found updates and deletions would not be applied during synchronization, and would be detected during each synchronization again.

The main application form would appear on the screen during the Windows start. Now "silent" start is implemented, with the icon appearing in tray only.

Not all folders would show up in the folder list if there are some corrupted folders that couldn't be read from PST.

Now when one of the PST files can't be accessed during start and/or synchronization, it will be opened during the next synchronization attempt.

"Apply" button would not become enabled when some automatic synchronization scheduling settings were changed.
